The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, disclosed on Tuesday in Uyo that operatives carried out the raid on July 11, 2026, at about 7:00 a.m., recovering a single-barrel gun and eight rounds of live cartridges concealed in the house.

According to her, the suspect’s wife, whose identity was withheld, told investigators that George regularly used the firearm to threaten her, their children and other members of the community.
