The National Coordinator of POCACOV (Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices), Superintendent of Police, Orvenonne Ikwen has taken her group’s campaign against to Cross River State.
Before commencing her activities in the state, she paid a courtesy calls on the Commissioner of Police in the State Command, CP Rashid B. Afegbua.
She and her team later conducted a State familiarization and awareness tour of State.
The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community engagement and intensify sensitization against cultism and other social vices across the State.

In a statement released by the PRO of the state command, ASP Eitokpah Sunday Akata, the visit forms part of sustained efforts to deepen community partnership, strengthen public trust, and intensify sensitization against cultism, bullying, and other social vices across the State.
Ikwen said POCACOV provides a platform to reinforce collaboration between the Police and critical stakeholders in driving proactive, community-based policing initiatives.
