Arch. Amdii A. Amdii, a university administrator and stakeholder at the University of Abuja, has congratulated the National President of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Comrade Ibrahim Mohammed, on the negotiation of the 2026 agreement between the union and the Federal Government.
Amdii said the agreement was an important step towards addressing the welfare concerns of senior staff in Nigerian universities.
He expressed support for Mohammed and the union’s National Administrative Council (NAC), noting that the agreement followed sustained agitation and engagement with the Federal Government.
According to Amdii, the union’s leadership must now focus on ensuring the full implementation of the agreement.
He also called on SSANU branches and members nationwide to support the national leadership in pursuing the implementation process.
Amdii wished Mohammed well in his continued efforts to advance the interests of senior staff in Nigerian universities.
