The operations, conducted between April 1 and 26, 2026, also led to the arrest of nine suspected oil thieves and the deactivation of 10 illegal refining sites in Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom states.
Acting Deputy Director, 6 Division Army Public Relations, Lieutenant Colonel Danjuma Jonah Danjuma, disclosed this on Sunday in Port Harcourt.
He said troops, working with other security agencies, sustained operations across creeks, forests and hinterlands to dismantle illegal bunkering camps and disrupt crude oil theft networks.
