Reacting to his victory, Oyebanji described the overwhelming mandate as a renewed call to service and pledged to govern with humility, compassion and the fear of God.
“I have a proper understanding of the responsibility that this victory has placed on my shoulders. It is a responsibility of service — service to the people of Ekiti State. I want to assure our people that we will continue to serve them with courage, compassion, humility and the fear of God,” he said.
The governor thanked Ekiti voters for renewing their confidence in his administration and assured them of improved performance in his second term.
He said his government would continue implementing its development blueprint while remaining open to emerging priorities that could further accelerate the state’s growth and improve the welfare of residents.
“Our focus remains the comprehensive implementation of our development agenda for the benefit of all Ekiti people,” Oyebanji added.
